Barnala Steel Industries Ltd. has got the distinction of approval to produce TMT bar under the certificate of the most modern "TEMPCORE" process by its inventor CRM-Belgium. It is being produced under the brand name BARNALA PLUS TMT. The name TEMPCORE has been chosen to illustrate the fact that the martensite layer is TEMPered by the heat left in the CORE at the end of quenching stage. The process has uniquely established the most wanted combination of strength and ductility both, thus enabling the designer to use less steel end greater safety factor.
